Alvin Uncouth, Uncultured, Says MCA Leader

PETALING JAYA: MCA deputy president Datuk Wee Ka Siong has described sex blogger Alvin Tan as someone uncultured and uncouth.

Wee, who is also a Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department said even if Alvin did not agree with Malaysian leaders it was wrong of him to attack them.

“His actions are disrespectful and he must face the full force of the law.

“I really don’t know what is wrong with him,” said Wee after the ground breaking ceremony for a new block at SRJK (C) Kuen Cheng 1 today.

Alvin had superimposed pig snouts on the faces of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, Home Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Attorney-General Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail and Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar.

He also called Najib a coward in his Facebook posting while accusing the latter of trying to hang on to power by using the Sedition Act.

Alvin also attacked Zahid and Khalid in his Facebook postings.

Alvin and his former partner Vivian Lee had been charged under the Sedition Act for an offensive Ramadan greeting they had put up on Facebook in July last year.

Wee said Malaysians did not behave the way Alvin did

“We have culture and values that we follow irrespective of race or religion.”

Wee said people should know their limits because unnecessary actions could lead to ill-feelings. - The Rakyat Post
