SURABAYA: Indonesian news portal detik.com reported that there might still be hope in the search for the missing AirAsia Indonesia flight QZ8501.
The portal quoted Intan, the sister of passenger Martinus Djomy in a Blackberry Messenger that the passengers were safe.
Intan said "Kabarnya mendarat darurat di Belitung Timur, semua selamat. Tapi kita tetap butuh kepastian."
However, there was no confirmation from the authorities. - NST
