Manifestation Government Will Not Achieved Without The Support Of Entrepreneurs

The 4th Mara-OISCA International Business Forum 2015 through the theme “Investing Toward Sustainable Energy and Agro-Based Industry provides a platform for government, business and leading thinker from academia and civil society to discuss how to strengthen economic cooperation, regional economic integration and business partnerships.

Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem said, the forum today is of upmost importance since the increase in the income of entrepreneur will alleviate the performance not only for entrepreneur but also to the nation as well.

"We realize that the manifestation of the Government will not be achieved without the support of entrepreneurs in order to achieve greatness and thus contribute towards the development of the nation."

"I personally have high hopes towards the entrepreneurs so that they will able to become an independent force and expand their business to a higher level."

Adenan said in his text speech read by Assistant Minister of Resource Planning Datuk Haji Mohd Naroden Majais at Ministry of Resource Planning and Environment and Sarawak Sewerage Services Department at 4th Mara-OISCA International Business Forum 2015 held in Pullman Kuching.

He also would like to suggest that this cooperation between MARA-OISCA will at least manifest into other entrepreneurship programs such as Business Incubator, Business Attachment and Internship, Business Start-Up Consultation, Business Enhancement Training and Consultation and Business and Industrial Study Tour

“I am confident that this two cooperation will create entrepreneur with a combination of two great cultures and in turn become a competitive advantages in the business world,”

In addition, as Chief Minister of the state government of Sarawak, he would also be much grateful if OISCA could create an agricultural technology training centre similar to the KPD-OISCA Youth Training Centre in Tenom, Sabah.

“It is my hope that the programs offered by this training centre could provide long term benefits that can support the government effort to create more agricultural entrepreneur in Sarawak especially among the youth and to increase the standard of living among the farmers in the rural areas,”
