The Proton Iriz Borneo Media Drive Miri/Brunei/Kota Kinabalu Begins

MIRI: More than 20 media representatives participated in the four-day Proton Iriz Borneo Media Drive organised by PROTON Holdings Berhad.

The Proton Iriz Borneo Media Drive is scheduled to be flagged-off from Miri Marriott Resort & Spa tomorrow (12 February 2015) where the participants will drive up to Bandar Sri Bagawan, Brunei.

From Bandar Sri Bagawan, on 13 February 2015, they would continue to drive to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

Earlier today, as an introduction, the participants experienced their first handling on the Proton Iriz in an "Eco Run" session by driving from Miri to Batu Niah before returning to Miri in "Normal Drive".

The comprehensive and exciting Proton Iriz Borneo Media Drive was put up together to allow the participants to have a more wholesome first-hand experience with the model.

Not only that, the route that had been planned for this drive will also allow the participants to evaluate and really test the performance of the new VVT engine 1.3 litre and 1.6 litre, manual or CVT transmission.

The participants would also be given the opportunity to experience the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) feature of the car as well as the Autocross challenge with the Proton Iriz at the Likas Stadium in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

With their first-hand experience of the latest and most advanced model, it is hoped that the participants will learn and appreciate how PROTON Holdings Berhad have evolved as a manufacturer.
