PUTRAJAYA: Supporters of opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim tried to break the barrier set up at the Palace of Justice here this morning.
Led by Batu Member of Parliament Tian Chua, they were engaged in a face-off with policemen guarding near the barrier.
On Monday evening, Anwar’s supporters were engaged in the same act at Universiti Malaya where they broke into the compound by pushing through the lock gates to allow the PKR de facto leader to be driven in.
He later delivered a 20-minute speech near Dewan Tunku Cancelor before the group dispersed. - NST
