KUALA LUMPUR: The government has given its full assurance that it will continue to protect and safeguard the rights of Chinese education, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
"Please do not worry about Chinese vernacular schools as it is already protected under the Federal Constitution and the country's laws.
"Its is also included in the National Education Blueprint," he said in his speech in front of cheering delegates at the 61st MCA Annual General Meeting at Wisma MCA on Sunday. - The Star
