Cultural Catalyst Research Toward Lecturers Academic Excellence

Kuching : Organization of National Conference on Research and Innovation (NRIcon 2015) themed “Cultural Catalyst Research Toward Academic Excellence” fostering a culture of research among the lecturers will ensure that esteemed educationalist will be able to compete in parallel to the current transformation in this country.

Assistant Minister at Chief Minister Office, Datu Len Talif said, the conducted is not only inititated for the purpose of achieving an acceptable KPI or for the purpose of promotion but one must achieve the real objective.

"The research which are constructed mainly as a means to increase the knowledge and expertise of our lecturer, and in turn to improve the standard of education and mental development of our student,"

He told to all presenters and participant from Polytechnic Kuching Sarawak, Polytechnic Mukah and Polytechnic Kota Kinabalu Sabah at one-day National Conference on Research and Innovation, here today.

NRIcon 2015 has been organized by Polytechnic Kuching Sarawak under the Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Bumiputera Sarawak (TEGAS) to archive the SCORE objectives.

"I hope that Polytechnic Kuching Sarawak can continue this culture of innovation in their daily activities by displaying more creative and innovative approaches in line the vision of transforming the public service,"
