#DUNSitting : Fund For SLDB Projects Has Been Approved By Federal Government


The Sarawak Land Development Board (SLDB) has requested RM98.3 Million from the Federal Government to implement new projects and to maintain the existing ones during the plan period.

Minister of Land Development, Tan Sri Dr. James Jemut Masing said, under the first plan of the 11th Malaysia Plan, covering (2016-2017), the federal government has approved fund totaling RM17.89 for SLDB.

"This comprises RM2.79 soft loan to maintain existing oil palm mini estates and RM9.10 million grant for rubber mini estates and the upgrading and construction of access to the mini estates,"

Masing clarify, on top of the above projects, the SLDB will work closely with his Ministry.

"Other relevant agencies to undertake preliminary ground work on areas which have been surveyed, gazette under Section 6 and Proposed for Development from 2017 onward,"
